Oracle Analyst/ Developer
Purpose
Develop and implement functional enhancements in Oracle Apps 11.5.10 and future releases of Oracle. Support the business community to assure they have the tools needed to optimally perform their processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Development activities: - 60%, The tasks include and not limited to:
  Develop functional enhancements in the manufacturing, order management and financial areas of Oracle Apps.
  Develop conversion programs in the manufacturing, order management and financial areas of Oracle Apps.
  Develop complex XML based reports using RTF templates
  Manage code and data migration through PVCS/ Kintana software configuration tools
  Provide solutions to the Apps Manager with respect to flexfield designs, report designs, data migration mapping and fit/ gap analysis
  Lead/ assist with testing of developed solutions to verify that they fulfill business requirements and function correctly.

Maintenance Activities – 40%, The tasks include and not limit to:
  Provide strong technical support for Oracle projects
  Maintain/ Update data fields in existing complex projects
  Maintain complex custom form based solutions in the area of Manufacturing, Planning and Order Management
  Interact with Help Desk personnel to resolve tickets for Oracle Application Systems
  Log, support, and manage Oracle Technical Assistance Requests (TAR) to drive to closure incidents and problems with application functionality
  Facilitate incident and problem management for non-Oracle Application related problems

Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Information Systems or related
4 years or more hands on experience in Oracle developer tools
In-depth functional knowledge of Oracle 11i modules
Strong understanding of Oracle items (attributes, categories, catalogs, flexfilelds etc), Customer master, vendor master, Sales Order, Bills and Routing, data structure
In-depth knowledge of Oracle APIs
